I am greatly inspired by a lot of people in our community who have taken that daunting step or rather leap of faith. People such as:
 |
| Betty Karambu |
1.) Betty Karambu - despite being unable to go to university due to lack of school fees. She has been able to care for and still care's for young children through running marathons and raising funds from friends. She has been able to support them through buying them uniforms and mentoring them as a whole
2. ) Wawira Njiru - Wawira started a small organisation called food4education and through that she ventured into a restaurant called double portion. As mentioned Wawira started off small but right now she's able to provide more food to several schools thus increasing the amount of students who attend school.

3.) Francis Otieno Amonde - He started an organization called cup of uji. This initiative has led him to provide uji for children in schools

- The 3 individuals i have mentioned above have made a mark in the community. They have helped communities that are marginalised and through their initiatives they have been are still able to impact a tremendous number of individuals.
- I take this up as a challenge to challenge myself to do greater good to my neighbour or to basically improve my own community. Otherwise we can't have hopes and dwell on donors or organisations to come in and change our lives.
